Scholarships play a pivotal role in empowering students to pursue post-secondary education like a college or university degree, vocational credentials, or certifications. In partnership with our donors, the Education Foundation of Lake County offers scholarships based on academic achievement, talent and financial need. Annually, we award scholarships ranging from $500 to $20,000 to graduating Lake County seniors.
Applications for the Class of 2026 will open January 1, 2026.
The deadline to apply is March 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. If you have questions about scholarships, please reach out to Kacey Edmondson or review the Guide and FAQs here. For more information on each scholarship, please review the information below.
The Take Stock Second-Stage Supplemental Scholarship is available to help students fund their continued education beyond initial scholarships. Take Stock in Children alumni from Lake County are invited to apply for this scholarship. It is only available to students who have successfully completed two semesters in college following their high school graduation. It is intended to help TSIC graduates with the unexpected costs of enrollment not covered by the Florida Prepaid scholarship. Applications are available during fall & spring.
