The Educational Foundation of Lake County received a $28,000 STEM grant from the Duke Energy Foundation to provide funds for a Lake County Robotics Scrimmage.
The educational grant will host a district wide Vex robotics scrimmage that will expose the teams to a competition format and allow them to practice their skills for the upcoming robotics season. The event will comprise of 30 elementary and middle school teams who will participate in a head-to-head competition. It will follow the VEX robotics competition format with VEX coordinators to assist with the event.
