The Education Foundation is dedicated to serving the students and teachers in the Lake County Schools. We have been providing assistance to the district since 1987, and is the only direct support organization for Lake County Schools. The Foundation provides resources and programs that enhance student learning and teacher effectiveness. These resources include scholarships, classroom grants, and literacy initiatives. The Foundation also supports teacher professional development, recognizing that teachers are the backbone of student success. Our mission is to serve as the connection between our community and public education, evaluating needs and securing resources to enhance the quality of education. We have been able to provide support by offering supplies, grants, programs and recognition for our teachers, students and other staff. Last year alone the Foundation invested $1,616,727 back into our schools!
The Education Foundation invites you to join us and become a member of our Employee Giving family today. Every staff member and board member of the Foundation believes in our mission and is a personal donor. 100% of your gift goes directly to Lake County Schools. Being named in the Top 50 Education Foundations and being awarded the Candid Guidestar Platinum Seal of Transparency is a testament to the Foundation’s dedication to accountability and openness.
But we can’t do it alone. As we launch the annual Employee Giving Campaign for the 2023-24 school year, we are asking that you consider signing up for payroll deductions. You can choose deductions per pay period or give a one time gift that will come directly from Payroll to the Foundation. Employees can submit their completed forms to the Foundation via JackRabbit or mail to us at 2045 Pruitt St., Leesburg FL 34748.
